Pitkin Emergency Alert for the Aspen, Snowmass Village area(s): Road Closure Castle Creek Road remains closed at mile marker 4/South Hayden Road. One lane has been cleared for fire, law and emergency medical services. The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office is working with the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) to assess the risk to the traveling public.The road will remain closed until the avalanche threat is either mitigated or reduced.
